Business Description
The owner, Tammy Rider, is well known in the martial arts community and is highly active at fitness events, martial arts tournaments, stunt seminars, and is considered a self-defense expert within the community. She has been studying Okinawa Kenpo Karate Kobudo Shudokan (later known as Ryu Kyu Hon Kenpo Kobujitsu) since 1992. She earned her Black Belt in 1996. Ms. Rider has been very successful in the tournament circuit and has been awarded over 50 trophies and medals. She is a Hall of Fame member of the Action Martial Arts Hall of Fame in Atlantic City in 2011. She was also inducted into the World Karate Union Hall of Fame in 2012. Ms. Rider has also been a gold medal champion of the Pennsylvania State Keystone Games in kata, weapons, and sparring in 2009, 2010, and 2011 in the 18-35 year old women's division.
