Business Description
Hello! I'm Shay, owner at NW Organic and I want to tell you my story! As a young adult I always struggled with my weight. I knew nothing about nutrition. I ate pizza, nachos, bagels, drank soda and lived a very unhealthy lifestyle! By the time I was 20, I was bursting out of my shirts and pants and somehow still managed to attract a loving husband and got married. My husband (and Co-Owner) Ben and I had our first child (who is now a 7yr old gymnast) when I was 22, and that's when I knew I had to start living a more healthy lifestyle. I had at least 60lbs to loose, and had no idea how to loose it. I discovered "The Weight Loss Challenge" that saved my life. Not only did I loose 30lbs, but I learned how to fuel my body! Now many years later, I'm a healthy living Advocate, Wellness Coach, and Fitness Instructor. I strive every day to help adults and kids focus on healthy living. My goal is to have this place for many local trainers/instructors and farmers come to share their gifts.
