Business Description
Mike founded and runs fp Music Academy. He learned to play piano at an early age and learned quickly under the expert guidance of Dr. Ejnar Krantz. He has been playing piano for over 50 years and has accompanied church music for many congregations. Along the way, he picked up the skill of piano tuning and now tunes his own piano and many others. He currently plays piano or synthesizer with the Sunday music team (guitar, drums, bass guitar, vocalists) at Cedar Valley Bible Church.
Mike is trained as an engineer and has his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has worked for many different engineering companies in three states.
Mike enjoys passing along his piano skills to others of any age. He is happily married and has lived in Eastern Iowa for over 25 years. He enjoys networking and mentoring other business owners. He and his wife love their flourishing gardens and enjoy cooking what they grow, and she is his most-trusted advisor.
