Business Description
Born and raised in Mexico City, Moy is well acquainted with Mexican Street Food, especially tacos. An entrepreneur at heart, Moy moved to the US in 1997 to help run family owned restaurants in Minneapolis. He relocated to Cedar Rapids in 2008 and took a promising job financial sector, but often reminisced of his restaurant career. In 2009 he met his like-minded entrepreneurial spirit and partner: Puchi.
Fast-forward to 2017: Corporate Lay-Offs for both Moy and Puchi
Finding themselves removed from their positions, Moy and Puchi reflected on their passions, strengths, and opportunities...and decided to start a food truck!
"Part of my goal is to share some of my culture from growing up in the city and having access to street tacos. Mexican cuisine is very extensive and we only know just small part of it here in the Midwest. A component of our ambition is to educate people and introduce more authentic Mexican food to the Corridor."
