Business Description

Dr. Salma Merritt, M.D. completed her medical education in Dominican Republic. After practicing general medicine overseas she came to the United States and focused on Prenatal Ultrasound. In 2007 she was approached by someone with the idea of making a bottle and sippy cup holder that mothers could attached to car seats while they were driving which would permit their children to eat on their on. After designing and developing the first prototypes she was introduced to Margo Smith who had already designed and marketed her version of the idea and so both designs were incorporated into one.

Now being a mother of two children, the Mother's 3rd Arm has been personally used over the past 5 years by Dr. Merritt and her husband David for their two kids in each vehicle and throughout their home.
