Business Description

I relocated to Amador County in 2016 from Santa Clara County. My husband, Thom and I purchased the building the same month we got married in December of 2017. We had always talked of starting a retail shop that focused on locally made goods. People are very creative in Amador County and there is no shortage of things people make by hand! We started the business with our good friends who make amazing pottery in March of 2017. The shop started with about 10 local artists. The number goes up and down, but we have a core group of 6 or so artists that create a variety of items. We recently added a book corner with a selection of curated used books - my personal passion. We have also branched out into researching local historical photos and maps from Amador County. Thom enjoys exploring ways to highlight and present local historical maps of the county.
