Dr. Leila Turner, ND
Leila Turner, licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), grew up in Northern California surrounded by alternative medicine and Redwood trees. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a Bachelor's in Biology and in Psychology. In 2007 she co-founded the Naturopathic Medical Student Association. Upon graduating from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in 2007, she was awarded the prestigious SCNM Student Leadership Award and the Daphne Blayden Award in recognition of academic excellence, compassion and perseverance.
Dr. Turner was awarded a 2-year residency in women's health and general medicine at SCNM Medical Center. Upon completing her residency in 2009, she joined Naturopathic Specialists where her private practice thrived for 7 years. She was Assistant Professor for the Department of Clinical Sciences at SCNM where she played an integral role in development of the revised curriculum at SCNM.
