Sandy Eppler has moved The "Little" Herb Shop from Bluffton, where she was located for 27 years, to Markle. She is located at 180 N. Tracy St., Markle. Eppler is no stranger to the Huntington community, her parents, Tom and Violet Lewis, having run a store on Henry Street for many years. She graduated from Huntington North High School in 1978 and has returned back home.
The "Little" Herb Shop carries Nature's Sunshine products and essential oils.
In addition, Eppler offers iridology - reading of the irises to determine possible health problems - as well as reflexology, Himalayan Salt treatments, ion foot cleanse, massage therapy and tanning beds.
Eppler has had 900 hours of massage training and has taken classes in iridology under Solomon Wickey, an Amish man who practiced holistic healing and studied Bernard Jensen's teachings, who pioneered the diagnostic practice. Sandy is the daughter of the late Violet Lewis who owned and operated Violet Lewis Herbs.
