Business Description
Kevin got his start in mens fashions 24 years ago when he worked at Richmans Brothers at Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg, Pa. He then went on to management at The Bon Ton in Indiana, Pa, and then as a buyer for JCPenneys in Greensburg, Pa. He fell in love with the business and dreamed someday of opening his own mens store. In 2002, that dream became a reality when he opened Lapels in Downtown Greensburg, an upscale mens shop offering the very best dress and casual clothing and formalwear. Although a lot has changed over the years, one thing that hasn't is Kevin, and the stores commitment to community involvement. Kevin sits on the board of directors of The Bethlehem Project, a Greensburg-based organization for the homeless; is a former board member and current events coordinator for the Greensburg Business Association, and holds a variety of benefit nights at his store in partnership with several non-profit organizations.
