George assumed his leadership position as League Administrator and Commissioner in 2014. Before stepping into this role, he had served as a league official, as well as a league manager dating all the way back to 2008, giving him many of years of experience in and around the Ladera Football League. He played Quarterback at Tesoro High School under Head Coach Brian Barnes, serving as Team Captain in his senior season, a team that ended up beating the #1 ranked team in the state of California, Servite High School.
His passion for football is evident and his desire to teach the next generation is clear as he has also coached Quarterbacks for the last 6 years. During his coaching career, he has had the opportunity to train many Quarterbacks, including the likes of Sam Darnold (QB - USC/NY Jets).
George looks forward to each Saturday at Chaparral Fields, as well as meeting each member of the Ladera Football League family!
