Kiska received her Master of Music degree in Music Education at the Eastman School of Music in 2010 where she studied violin with Lynn Blakeslee and Zvi Zeitlin. The primary focus of Kiska's career is to develop the skills necessary to guide her private students. During her 5 years in Rochester she taught violin students in her private studio, at the Kanack School of Music in Brighton, NY, and at Eastman, where she taught Secondary Violin and was a teacher's assistant for the String Method's course. Summer music camps are one of Kiska's favorite teaching events. Summers of 2006, 2007, and 2008 she taught chamber music camps and Celtic Fiddling camps at the Kanack School of Music. In 2005, Kiska received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Brigham Young University. Kiska toured Europe several times with the Brigham Young University Chamber orchestra and the Rocky Mountain Camerata. Hiking in the Rocky Mountains or Southwestern red rock is also a favorite pastime for Kiska.
