In 2004, Doug started contemplating the idea of doing Thai catering since no one was really doing it in the area. Sumalee liked the idea, but didn't want her food cooked and delivered an hour after coming out of the wok. They had to think of another way, and then it hit them. They had to put a kitchen with woks in a truck, just like the taco trucks. Early in 2005, they were up and running and were pretty much by themselves with a handful of trucks rolling into Seattle in 2007. Doug and Sumalee are still very much involved in the restaurant and are always looking for inventive ways to improve it.
