Brett grew up in two worlds - one of peace as he worked in his parents non profit organizations, another of violence as a delinquent teen. After earning his degree in psychology he learned to bridge both worlds, and became aware of the collective healing needed before peace can come to the planet.
Penpa grew up as a refugee, fleeing Tibet and finding a home in India under the care of a boarding school setup by the Dalai Lama. After living as a photographer who traveled India, love brought her to America, where she earned her degree in psychology and began a journey of deep personal healing work.
Brett & Penpa met in India in 2002 and got married in 2007, merging together like Voltron to become Brenpa. They both trained to become yoga teachers and began helping people heal and evolve through breathing, meditation, and physical postures. With an awareness of both the personal and collective needs in mind, they created Innovative Yogis as a vessel to share their gifts with the world.
