Business Description
My passion for kayaking all started when I was a teenager, and my mother bought me a small kayak to go out on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. I think she was trying to keep me out of trouble (it worked!). The first time I went out, I was immediately addicted to the natural freedom I felt out on the water, and away from the busy city world. For many years it was just a hobby, but then become a sport, and now a life which I would like to pass on to others. I have worked as an instructor for almost 10 years and love to watch people enjoy the water life in a safe way. I created Hood River SUP and Kayak as a link to bring people back to nature and the water.
