Hiddencroft Vineyards is a charming and authentic Virginia farm winery located in Lovettsville, VA. This family-operated business is owned by Clyde and Terry Housel, who began planting their vineyard in 2001 and solely grew grapes for other Virginia wineries for the first six years. The winery production facility with tasting room was built on the original 16-acre parcel and opened in May of 2008. In April 2011, Hiddencroft Vineyards expanded their operations to the adjoining 10-acre plot of land which includes an 1830's farmhouse that now serves as the tasting room and a 1930's barn used for special events.

Hiddencroft Vineyards is known for creating wines that appeal to a wide range of personal tastes. Their estate-grown and produced wines range from traditional white and red vinifera wines to fruit wines, ranging from dry to semi-sweet. The red wines see plenty of barrel time, between 22 and 42 months, while the whites are complex and show the characteristics of the terroir - fruit, flowers, and spice. Novelty wines of unusual flavors such as blueberry, cherry, and blackberry also grace the tasting menu.

The tasting room is an 1850's farmhouse with tasting counters on the first floor and seating on the second floor. Outside, the deck seats 44 under colorful umbrellas, and the patio, with firepit, seats about 40 more. The tasting house and winery are surrounded by their vineyards, orchard, and butterfly garden. The butterfly garden is active from mid-June to mid-September, providing a beautiful and serene spot for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery.
