I started this business two years after suddenly losing my mom to cancer. We had no idea that she was even sick, then three days later she’s gone. I was an only child and we were very close. Losing her sparked an awakening in me. As she drew her final breaths, I sang her favorite hymn and promised her that I was going to be okay. For the first year, I would swear to you that I lied to my mother with my last words to her. Then, on the first anniversary of her death, she came to me in a dream. Then again the following night. This went on for four straight nights, and I began to realize that there is no such thing as coincidence. She passed because it was her time. And I realized that she wasn’t actually gone, I felt her energy and knew she was close. So I started meditation and crystal work. Learned reiki and started to work on reopening my third eye so that I could really communicate with my mom. Along the way, I regained and strengthened spiritual gifts that I’d blocked as a child.
