Business Description

Hilda was a long-time Air Stewardess for Pan Am Airlines during the 1970's & 80's. She always traveled with a good supply of hair products. During this time, Hilda thought that if she ever quit being a flight attendant, she would like to be a Hair Stylist.

In 1986, she quit flying and went to school at Mary Kawakami's College of Beauty in Provo, Utah. As a single Mom with two sons to support, she worked for Goldwell Hair Products as an Educator, showing Hair Professionals how to use the products that she represented. Later, she moved to Southern California after her Father's death. Hilda opened up both the San Diego and Orange county territories for the distributor Innovation Pro Hair Products. After 12 years, she re-united with her ex-husband and they returned to Provo, Utah in 1998.

Hilda has worked with Regis at the Provo Towne Center, then Beauty First at the Riverwoods and then Vanity Hair Salon in Orem for 10 years. She opened her own shop: Hair by Hilda in 2013.
