Doing hair has been a dream of Porsha's since the age of 15. Her grandmother used to comb and braid her hair as a child all the time. Porsha remembers her grandma saying, "Don't use anyone else's comb or brush!" and "Make sure you have clean and neat parts!" Porsha had tons of thick and long hair. When she got older, her godmother started caring for her hair. One day Porsha experienced the inevitable. The nape section of her hair started falling out! Porsha knew that the ponytails given were too tight, but she didn't feel comfortable saying anything. She now suffers from Traction alopecia. A very traumatized moment, so she started doing her own hair. Porsha kept this a secret for years. In addition, she attended the Cosmetology program at Seattle Central CC. However, she was forced to drop out to fulfill the family tradition of playing basketball. As an adult she did her kids hair, and taught them. I know she can teach you too!
