Business Description

I’m Evan Lao-Ngo, and my love for coaching is rooted in my passion for the sport. I played tennis competitively in high school and at UCSC, engaging with five different coaches from 9th grade to my freshman year of college. Each coach imparted unique insights and techniques, shaping my comprehensive approach to coaching.

Beyond the tennis courts, I have a strong background in education. I’ve worked as a Math and English tutor, and I’ve held various roles involving children, including at the zoo and as a teacher's assistant. These experiences have equipped me with exceptional communication skills and the ability to connect with students of all ages.

The inspiration to start my private tennis coaching business came from my desire to merge my two passions: tennis and teaching. I wanted to create a service that not only helps players improve their game but also fosters a supportive and engaging learning environment.
