I was an Art major in college and when I graduated I realized I needed a job (these were the days when few women had careers.) In a panic I called my father and asked him what I should do with my life. He suggested I find a job in the advertising since I had worked for the student newspaper at UCLA. For 10 years I worked in advertising as an Account Supervisor, running major health and beauty aid accounts. Ultimately, I started to wish that I was working at something more artistic. I had always loved and appreciated beauty and I began to dream about Interior Design. I went back to UCLA Extension and studied Interior Design. Eventually I quit my job in advertising and made the switch. Once we moved to the mountains I started to work on cabins and lakefronts. I took the NCIDQ test, joined ASID and became a Calif. certified designer. Over the years, I have beautifyied houses in many ways from flipping, designing gardens, remodels, new construction and staging. I love it all!!
