I am a licensed acupuncture physician with a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. I have passed all required national board exams, and I am licensed in Florida as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and in New York State as an Acupuncturist. I received my training in California, Florida and in New York.
Also, I am a licensed massage therapist in Florida. I studied massage in Orlando at the National Personal Training Institute - focusing on sports and athletic performance massage. Since 2007 I have been on staff at Cirque Du Soleil's La Nouba as part of their performance medicine team. I am also the massage therapist of record for the Orlando Ballet.
Before becoming a massage therapist and an acupuncture physician I spent more than 20 years as a ballet dancer and performing on Broadway. Working as a dancer over those many years resulted in a wide range of injuries, both chronic and acute.
