Located in Islip, New York, Dance Connection has been a staple in the community for over 30 years. Founded in 1989 by Mary and Brian Naftal, the studio began as a one-room martial arts and dance center on Sunrise Highway in East Islip. With just 75 students and three dance teachers, the Naftals' parents made up the entirety of the office and support staff. But in just one short year, Dance Connection had expanded to a two-room studio and added additional teaching staff to accommodate its growing enrollment.

Today, Dance Connection continues to grow its enrollment and impact on the community. The studio offers a wide variety of classes, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Pointe, and Specialized Toddler, Preschool, and Combo programs. The studio is also the official Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy.
