Founded in 2009 by the dynamic duo of Katie Lewis, Artistic Director, and co-owner, and her mother Lisa Lewis, Business Director, Dance & Company is a realization of their lifelong dreams. With a deep passion for dance and a genuine love for children, Katie and Lisa have created a space where students can not only learn and grow but also delve into the art of dance and its rich history.

Katie, a dedicated and talented instructor, has been dancing since the tender age of three. Her extensive dance training and experience have shaped her teaching approach, specializing in children and preteens. Armed with a bachelor's degree in journalism and media studies, as well as a minor in dance from San Diego State University, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge to her classes, covering everything from dance history to choreography techniques.

Meanwhile, Lisa, also a co-owner, has over 20 years of experience studying ballet. As the Business Director, she is passionate about teaching adults the basics of dance as a creative outlet and a means to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
