Born in Costa Rica, Willy started dancing at the age of sixteen and has since danced professionally on stage and screen. He has designed all the sets for each performance at the Fiesta Resort and Casino, now Hilton Double Tree Fiesta, one of the largest and most exclusive resorts in Costa Rica due to his artistic abilities.

Willy then moved to Cancun, Mexico, where he danced for a Cuban Ballet Company for the next four years, performing at the Cancun and Rivera Maya Resorts in International Style Latin Dance as well as in musicals such as the Lion King and Grease. Willy was also the Salsa Champion for four consecutive years from 2001 through 2004 in Cancun, Mexico.

Since arriving in California in 2004, Willy has been working as a Pro-Dance Instructor, sharing his passion for dance with students of all ages and skill levels. Together with Ingrid Blanco, they have created a warm and welcoming environment at D'Wilfri DanceArt and Entertainment where students can learn and grow in their dancing abilities.
