Tony Phillips - Lead Trainer

Tony's enthusiasm for fitness was the result of his own weight issues, and their profound impact on his life. Through science-based education, sensible eating, steady persistence, and support from others, he gradually shed 60% of his body weight. He became so enthusiastic about his transformation that he decided to make it his vocation and become a personal trainer in Cookeville himself.

Pursuing this passion, he earned his Personal Trainer Certification and Health Coach Certification from the American Council on Exercise, which is the largest nonprofit health and fitness certification, education and training organization in the world. He went on to become a Level 1 Nutrition Coach from Evolution Nutrition as well as a certified UGI, Bodyblade, and Star Level 3 Spin Instructor.

After five years as a personal training and fitness manager, Tony started Custom Fitness Solutions in order to create the perfect union between real science and quality fitness.
