Business Description

Dani Baker grew up spending summers outdoors in the Adirondack Mountains of NY State. Looking toward her retirement from a position of psychologist with the New York State Corrections Department, she yearned to own some open space. She bought a 102 acre property on Wellesley Island, a former dairy farm, where, in 2006, she and her partner, David Belding, began developing a highly diversified certified organic meat and vegetable "Cross Island Farms."
