Joe's studies took him all the way to the Amazon Rainforest, where he developed his love for water gardens while working at the Missouri Botanical Garden. While there, Joe produced the only hybrid Victoria in Missouri Botanical Garden history, and aptly named it Victoria 'Adventure'. Joe even served as President of the St. Louis Water Gardening Society and is currently the Societies Historian.
