Born and raised on the water, and a second generation sea captain, Captain AJ Burr is fully licensed and insured. He has a lifetime of experience working on and driving boats of all shapes and sizes. You can relax and enjoy your time aboard knowing you are in capable hands. Captain AJ earned his first captain's license in 1990 working on tugboats in New York Harbor. He left boat work to fly in the air ambulance industry for 12 years, and still holds a commercial pilots license. Captain AJ is knowledgeable on both Amelia Island and Cumberland Island history, and local wildlife. He now runs Captain AJ's Marine Services, LLC with his wife and first mate, Amy Vickery.
