Business Description

We are a family owned and operated 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our Founder and CEO, Irene Roach has lived and worked in the Land O' Lakes community since 1970. She was married to William E. Roach, real estate owner and entrepreneur for over 40 years. Camp Idlewild will be their legacy. They always wanted to do something for special needs children and were inspired by their youngest grandson Ross, to build a place where children with ASD can gather to play and socialize. Ross' mother, Wendy Neal is our Executive Camp Director and a School Psychologist by trade. Sherri Shuman, sister to Wendy, is our Director of Operations and Community Outreach Specialist. Sherri has over 40 years of experience in business, sales/marketing and public relations.
