For over 50 years, Bremerton Dance Center has been a pillar in the Kitsap County community, providing exceptional dance training to students of all ages. Located in Bremerton, Washington, this dance school has become a beloved institution, instilling in each student a sense of control, skillfulness, and finesse.

The dance school's history is impressive, starting in 1964 when founder Lawan Morrison established "Lawan's Studio of Dance" in the basement of her Marine Drive house. As the number of students grew, Morrison moved the dance school to a local Episcopalian Church on the corner of Sixth and Chester, which she purchased and transformed into the Bremerton Dance Center in 1968. Today, the center continues to nurture and support its dance environment by educating and providing quality performances to its audience.

The assistant artistic director, Mallory Morrison, received her training from Bremerton Dance Center and went on to become a dancer with the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Her experience includes touring with the company to France and performing at Disney World and on the Royal Caribbean Cruise line tour. Morrison is also a certified ABT Teacher for levels Pre-Primary through Level 3 and is committed to inspiring every dancer to reach their highest aspirations.
