Bernie Nelson, founder of Body & Core Pilates, is certified by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA), has completed Pilates programs from All American Pilates, the Kane School of Core Integration for Pilates and Lolita San Maguel Pilates Master. A former collegiate football player for the University of Nebraska at Omaha, he has also held Certifications in Personal training from the American Council on Exercise and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
In 2001, after working in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer and a Licensed Massage Therapist, Nelson became a Certified Pilates Instructor and opened his first Pilates studio inside Gold's Gym.
