Business Description

In 1974, I fell in love with the game of golf. From that era, I wanted to be a PGA Golf Professional like Jack Nicklaus, my favorite golfer and contemporary. After a successful sales and marketing career after graduating UNC-Wilmington for 9 years, I decided to follow my dream to become a PGA Golf Professional. I researched the requirements on how to do so and, first by passing a playing ability test to not to be 5 over par for 36 holes in back-to-back rounds in one day! Then to be an apprentice in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program, taking 21 classes of self-study and working a Class-A professional for 7 years. I did the required work and built and established the Jensen Beach Golf Academy in 2004. I have been a school golf coach for many schools to include The Jensen Beach High School, Port St. Lucie High School, The Pine School, and St. Michaels. I teach golf to Women, Men, Seniors and Juniors! I am on the SFPGA Junior committee as well as the PGA President's Council.
