Bluma Flower Farm is a certified organic cut flower farm located in Berkeley, CA. Owned by Joanna Letz, Bluma is one of the very few organic cut flower farms in the Bay Area. Joanna has won several awards and has been featured in a number of magazines and newspapers.
Bluma Flower Farm provides full service floral design for events and also offers the option of purchasing bulk buckets of Bluma flowers for those interested in designing their own floral arrangements. The farm is now concentrating on expanding its floral services to include doing flowers for weddings and special events.
Joanna Letz started Bluma Flower Farm in 2013. Prior to starting the farm, Joanna worked at Green Gulch Farm and at Slide Ranch. She grew up in Oakland and attended Berkeley High School. After graduating from college, Joanna was accepted as an apprentice in UC Santa Cruz's Apprenticeship in Horticulture Program which was established in 1967.
Bluma Flower Farm is located in the agricultural park in Sunol where a dozen other farmers grow organic fruit, vegetables and flowers. All flowers are grown from organic seed and all compost and fertilizer is organic. No fungicides or pesticides are used.
