Mike received his bachelors of science degree in sports management and exercise science in 2011. In 2015, he completed his training to become a National Academy of Sports Medicine: Master Trainer. He has given speeches about strength and conditioning at several different universities, including West Virginia University, Bowling Green State University, and St. Cloud State University. He also works as a lead instructor and strength and conditioning coach with the Shane Clifford Goalie School.
Mike has been featured in American Fitness Magazine, as well as several articles with NASM.org
Mike has over 15 years of experience coaching goalies that have played in the AHL, ECHL, NCAA D1 & D3, USHL, ACHA, and various other leagues across the US, Canada, and Europe. He is also a goalie coach coordinator and strength and conditioning coach with USA Hockey.
Mike was born on April 10, 1986 in Pittsburgh, PA. He and his wife, Melissa, have a son Braden and a daughter Mikayla.
