Business Description

Melanie Jeffers started working in area florists during breaks when she was in college. This sparked her interest in the business and she ended up majoring in Horticulture and graduating from Penn State with a degree in it.

Upon graduation, she went to Colorado to intern at, Veldkamp's, a large florist retail chain. She stayed in Colorado for a while to enjoy all it ahad to offer. She then moved to Philladelphia to manage stores for Frank's Nursery and Crafts.

After getting married, becoming Melanie Frassinelli, and having children she stepped away from the nursery center and became a manager for OshKosh B'Gosh, childrens clothing.

After six years with OK Melanie began Melanie's Florals, a wedding and event florist. After 13 years, Melanie has expanded this business to a full service florist and gift shop called Bloom by Melanie.
