I have recently started an Event decor business. Why you ask? Let me rewind back to 34 years ago when a young airmen and a impulsive young women decided to get married at the Hitch and Post as they were passing through Las Vegas. There was no fancy white dress, there were no flowers and no elaborate decor. There was just the love of two young people and the excitement of the future to come. This young couple was my parents and well four kids and 30 years later we decided it was time for them to have the wedding they never had. My parents were living overseas at the time we decided to throw this big shindig so it was up to me to do the planning, which I was more than excited to do. Throughout the entire planning process i was like a kid in a candy store and that is when I realized I wanted to continue doing this for other people. I honestly can not put into words the beauty of the event and the gratification I felt for being instrumental in creating such a memorable day for my parents.
