Dr. Mark Ryser grew up in the Salt Lake area and is a second-generation oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies, followed by his dental training at the University of Louisville, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2001. Dr. Ryser completed medical school in conjunction with postgraduate training at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. After receiving his Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.), he completed a surgical internship in general surgery at Charity Hospital. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Louisiana State University, one of the top programs in the country, in 2007.
Additionally, Dr. Ryser has received multiple awards at both national and international meetings for his research and publications in the fields of dental implants and craniofacial biology. He practices the entire scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with particular interests in dental implants.
