An Arab-American and a Vermont Juried Artist, Alia draws from over three decades of immersion in technique, history, regional and folkloric styles, props, theatrical and fusion elements, costuming, music, choreography, improvisation, and performance.
Alia empowers students, highlighting creativity, individuality, and self-expression. Students emerge from her classes feeling more confident and beautiful, inspired "to reach within to both their physical and mystical core self and dance from there first."
Alia teaches classes in St. Johnsbury, VT and workshops across the country. She is also available for private coaching. Alia provides performance opportunities for her students and produces events featuring highly regarded guest artists.
