Adventure is in my blood. I was born in Russia and have loved the outdoors ever since I could remember. My father was a professional mountaineer and rock climber, having won a mountaineering gold medal in the Soviet Union in 1978. As a child I would spend a lot of time with him in various mountains around the former Soviet Union. Following our family's move to Los Angeles in the mid 90's this passion continued as we constantly took road trips to local mountains and national parks.
Even as a youth I knew I wanted a career in adventure. I earned a Kinesiology degree from California State University of Northridge. I am an avid outdoors-man and traveler, having been to over 25 countries in just the last 5 years. Besides being in the mountains I'm also a certified scuba diver and have worked as a white water kayak guide. Now I want to share my knowledge and love for the outdoors with all of you!
