Business Description
My journey to yoga and wellness started back when I was in junior high. While my brothers and friends wore regular size jeans, I had to go to the "Husky" section of the store. No acid-washed "cool" jeans for me. It wasn't until I was introduced to tennis and track in junior high that my real journey began. I took my first yoga class in 2005 while working in Chicago, IL and training for the 2006 ING Half Marathon in Miami the following January. After a few weeks of 3-4 classes per week, I noticed the physical impact of yoga. I've realized the mental balance that yoga created in my life in concert with running and good nutrition. In addition to launching Access Yoga & Wellness, I'm studying for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer certification. I'm also preparing for a pilates certification course in the summer. I enjoy the challenge of developing new ways to combine yoga, nutrition and wellness. Welcome to Access Yoga & Wellness.
