Business Description

Seth grew up, as many boys do, with a love for firearms. When other boys were studying cars and looking at car magazines, he was learning how to take apart and clean guns. He graduated high school at the age of 15 and went into college, first locally then to Humboldt State, at his Mom's request. But, after a short season of schooling he convinced his Mom to let him join the US Army when he was 17. Although he scored extremely high on his ASVAB tests, giving him the choice of many career opportunities, he requested to serve as an infantryman, where he would be surrounded by what he loved. And indeed it gave him extensive knowledge of firearms, but also many life and business skills.

Returning home and starting a family Seth worked towards a career at home in firearms. He is now married and a father of 6 living here in his hometown, doing what he has always loved: bringing his passion of firearms and his love for teaching together at 1st Tactical Defense.
