Business Description

I'm Kristin Armstrong, owner of River's Edge Therapeutic Massage. I am an Illinois licensed and board certified massage therapist and member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 2014.

One of the most common questions a person asks me after they learn my profession is, "Why did you choose to become a massage therapist?" The simple answer: because I love it! And I love it because it works.

When I get a good massage it changes me; aches and pains are minimized, ones that I didn't even know I had are gone, my mind is clearer and sharper, I sleep better, stress and anxiety levels decrease.

As a massage therapist, it's my goal to do that for other people. Massage feels fabulous for a reason: it is physiologically and psychologically potent. Nothing brings me more fulfillment and satisfaction than the knowledge that I've improved someone's life. Massage is designed for just that!
