Antonio Scalora has been in the hair industry for 47 years. He began as a young boy with an apprenticeship in Italy (Sicily), his birthplace. The legal process of immigration took Antonio's family 5 years to accomplish. Once he became old enough he continued his schooling in Chicago at Barber College, following in the footsteps of his two older brothers. He soon discovered that he had an interest in women's hair as well and wanted to become more experienced with cutting, styling and coloring. Over numerous years of various educational training classes, which included Vidal Sassoon Academy in Toronto Canada, Tony and Guy Academy in Dallas Texas, and Horst of Aveda, educator for Broccato International, he began to feel confident in women's hair and that soon led to his feeling he had the ability to train others. The training of others gives him the opportunity to meet other stylists, visit salons and share in different ideas and techniques. Antonio's first language is Italian,
