Hiyala was a French teacher in the public schools for many years. She got trained in massage therapy and watsu at Harbin Hot Springs in Ca where she lived for 3 years. Her first massage job was at a spa in Calistoga . Upon return to Mn she grew her own business from the bottom up after being trained thru Integrative Yoga Therapy (at Mount Madonna) in Cal.. She loves living in Circle Pines, where there is a small town atmosphere with lots of nature trails.
