Business Description
My intro to massage was when I was about 12 years old. I met a massage therapist that was a friend of the family. She showed me how to find knots and how to melt them away. I loved it, thought it was so interesting and she said I was a natural.
I took personal massage classes just for fun. I used massage techniques on my horses when I was younger. I would say intuition helped me immensely.
After High School, I didn't know what I wanted to do and went to college briefly. I got involved in the bakery business and was head decorator at a local bakery and then opened my own bakery with my business partner in 1995. We owned Classic Cakes for 8 years.
Once we both started thinking about starting families, I knew the bakery business would be difficult because of the hours. We decided to sell our business and that's when I decided to finally go to massage school!!
I am so happy with what I do and love all my clients. I only wish I would have figured it out sooner!
